Linking Peoples and Forests in the Philippines

NTFP-EP Philippines is a rights-based, community-rooted organization working with Indigenous Peoples and local communities across key forest landscapes in the Philippines.

Through non-timber forest products (NTFPs), community-based enterprises, forest governance, policy advocacy, and cultural knowledge, we support livelihoods that sustain forests and strengthen community rights and stewardship.

Our work is grounded in a simple belief: forests, peoples, livelihoods, and cultures are deeply connected.

Our Work

Our work connects four interrelated areas: forest-based livelihoods, tenure and governance, community-based conservation, and safeguarding culture.

Together with Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and partners, we work to strengthen forest governance, support responsible NTFP-based enterprises, conserve biodiversity, and sustain cultural knowledge and practices.
